In the area it is possible to practice sport climbing on a cliff. In Aprica every year the Sunà da Mars is celebrated, one of the oldest traditions. Bell-ringers in local costume, coming from the different districts, meet and starting from Piazza Mario Negri begin to shake their big cowbells. The district of San Pietro has the particular characteristic of having murals drawn on the walls of the houses representing the local fauna. Also in the Santa Maria district there are murals depicting ancient acts of peasant life. Inside the city of Aprica it is possible to admire the church dedicated to St. Peter and Paul, which has been remodeled several times over the course of the various eras. Inside we find a beautiful 17th century crucifix made of wood and leather. Typical traditional dishes are: pizzoccheri, sciatt, panvì, rice in cagnone, tagliatelle with tongue and risotto with saffron or mushrooms.
