Bari, the capital of Puglia and beyond

Today we are in one of the most beautiful cities of the Italian coast, Bari. Let's go immediately to find out which are the ten places that cannot be missed when visiting the city. Let's start with the Petruzzelli Theater, located in the historic center, the largest in the city and the fourth largest in Italy. A few kilometers from the center, we stroll through the Lido di San Francesco. We then enter the archaeological underground of the city where we admire the underground Bari, an exciting discovery of another city under the city. We still admire the Provincia art gallery, Piazza Mercantile and the Lungomare Nazario Sauro, with the Church of San Savino. You cannot miss the visit to the Castle, characterized by the square towers that overlook it and by a wide and deep moat; the Basilica of San Nicola, one of the symbols of the city of Bari which rises in the heart of the old city, where before its construction, there was the Byzantine catapano palace. Its structure is one of the best examples of Apulian Romanesque architecture.
