Ardesio

We are in Bergamo, more precisely in Ardesio, a characteristic village of the Seriana Valley and Scalve Valley, a place where you can take a journey made of ancient Christian and folk traditions, still preserved over the centuries. Famous for the Sanctuary of the Madonna delle Grazie, which appeared in 1607, for this reason half of thousands of pilgrims every year, participating in the celebrations in honor of that event. Not only that, it is a place full of folkloristic manifestations and events to relive popular traditions, such as the Scasada dei Zenerù, in January, and the Ardesio DiVino, in August. To visit the META - Ethnographic Museum of the upper Seriana Valley, with important testimonies of the work in the mine and the textile industry. From the 1400s, inside the village, we find the Rural House, which houses rooms from the era of domestic life, handicraft tools and agricultural equipment. For sports lovers there is the ski mountaineering itinerary at the Branchino Pass, where we also find a refuge to sleep and taste typical dishes.
