Kite surfing in Gizzeria

Every year in Gizzeria, for several years now, an event is repeated that attracts fans and sportsmen from all over Italy, from all over Europe and from all over the world. This is the World Kite Surfing Championships. This place was chosen by the International Federation of this sport for a peculiarity that has the coast of Gizzeria. In this stretch of sea, due to some particular geomorphological conditions, the wind always pulls. There is no day in which it is not possible to practice kite surfing, and this is the reason why fans of this aquatic discipline always meet in Gizzeria during the summer months. However, Gizzeria also offers many other activities for those who do not have a particular predilection for kite surfing. For example, there is also a school of the Sailing Federation. Anyone can enroll in this school, starting with children of 10 or 11 years of age. Furthermore, it is also possible to simply relax on the beach, enjoying the local dishes in the restaurants.
