Castelfiorentino is a town in the province of Florence. The first inhabitants settled in the town more than a thousand years ago in the place where the Parish of Saints Ippolito and Biagio stands and then expanded in the upper part of the village where the Collegiate Church of Saints Lorenzo and Leonardo is located as well as the Town Hall. Notable buildings are the Teatro del Popolo located in Piazza Gramsci and the Be Museum. Go. Which exhibits important works by the artist Benozzo Gozzoli. Also worth a visit are the Church of San Francesco and the Sanctuary of Santa Verdiana which houses the Museum of Sacred Art. Of great historical value are the Castle of Oliveto, the Castle of Cabbiavoli, the Villa Cambi Pucci in Cambiano and the Villa Pucci in Granaiolo. Very beautiful is the Pieve di Coiano from which you can walk along a stretch of the Via Francigena. Among the most important events in the town, the Via Francigena in Val d'Elsa, the Via dei Presepi, the Feast of Agriculture, Incanti e Banchi, Val d'Elsa River Trophy and the Palio Ca'Stellare are worth mentioning.
