Civitella del Tronto, located in the Marche region, is one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. The first stop is the Bourbon fortress which enjoys a point of relief and view over the whole city, a place abandoned at the end of 1800 after the last siege, which today can be visited as a whole; a stop at the museum dedicated to its interior is not to be missed. The entrance to this historic place costs € 6 and in addition to the museum it is possible to visit the soldiers' rooms, an ancient oven and above all the fascinating landscape surrounded by greenery. We continue with a stop to taste some typical dishes, 'da LeMa typical products', including pecorino, a blue cheese 'blu 2179', mycelium, 'gran vaccata' a cow cheese, wild boar sausage, vetricina teramana, the “scrucchiata” a 100% natural grape jam without thickeners and the sausage to spread. After lunch we continue through the streets of the village, in search of beautiful views. A particular place to visit is the 'ruetta', the narrowest street in Italy.
