We are located in Sessa Aurunca, a town surrounded by greenery in the province of Caserta in Campania. This city has very ancient origins, we find traces of prehistoric settlements and in the necropolis of the eighth century BC. C, just in the period in which the Aurunci an ancient Italic people lived there. In the 4th century it was conquered by the Romans. Here was born the Latin poet Lucilius in 180 BC. C, the philosopher Agostino Nifo in 1469. Its historic center has almost unique characteristics, with its lava pavement, the domes and bell towers of the churches covered with yellow and green majolica. It has narrow streets and alleys that walking around will make us relive the medieval village, with the Tower of San Biagio and that of Transo from 1200 and the Ducal Castle. To visit absolutely is the archaeological area, which includes sections of the ancient walls, the Roman Theater, ruins of the baths, the remains of the amphitheater and the Cryptoporticus.
