On the extreme northeastern tip of Sicily, today we go to the discovery of Messina. After crossing the Strait and diving into these wonderfully crystalline waters, we go to admire the first of the attractions of this city, the Lighthouse, dating back to the nineteenth century with black and white stripes. To the side of the Cathedral, as well as Protometropolitan of Santa Maria Assunta, mother church and fulcrum of the historic center of Messina, we can admire the Statue of the Immaculate Conception, a white marble sculpture by Ignazio Buceti from Messina, placed on a high base in the square 'Immacolata di Marble'.
