Today we are going to visit one of the most popular destinations in Italy: Sorrento. In the province of Naples, let's immediately find out what this town offers! Walking through the Lauro Park, we arrive in the historic center, in Piazza Tasso, where we admire the homonymous statue. Not far away we are greeted by the Vallone dei Mulini; its name derives from the presence of ancient mills used in ancient times for grinding wheat. Peculiar is the valley carved by the streams of water. Once in the middle of Corso Italia, however, we find ourselves in front of the Cathedral of Santi Filippo e Giacomo, a monumental church dating back to the 10th century. We then continue to the Cloister of San Francesco to end up in the beach of the same name, passing through the parks of the Villa Comunale. Again, we arrive in the most attractive square in Sorrento, Piazza della Vittoria, with a monument dedicated to the Fallen in the center, known among the Sorrentines as 'Abbasc'ò monument'. We end our trip walking through the Marina Grande, a beautiful seaside village, cradle of the 'Gozzo Sorrentino'.
