Beverino, a municipality developed longitudinally on the Ligurian hills, part of the Val di Vara and positioned behind the Cinque Terre National Park. This municipality is divided into six hamlets and each of them has its own historic center, which is interesting from the point of view of tourism. Beverino is a medieval city and testimony of this, at the entrance to the town, there is an ancient stone door and in a garden, formerly part of a castle, thousand-year-old trees stand out. From a nearby hill it is possible to admire the beauty of the entire village and, moreover, it is possible to understand what is the main source of livelihood: agriculture. Walking through the silent and narrow streets, you reach the church of Santa Croce, dating back to 1600: it has a single nave and side niches inside which restored paintings are positioned. The church is in Baroque style, with gold stuccoes, putti scattered everywhere and canvases, frescoes and paintings dating back to between 1400 and 1600. In Beverino it is possible to practice various activities, such as trekking, mountain biking and hiking, even along the bank of the river Vara.
