We are in a wonderful village, within the Monte Corno Natural Park, at more than one thousand hundred meters above sea level: today we are going to visit Trodena. The village is a renowned tourist destination for the enchanting nature that still reigns supreme. Beautiful woods and sunny meadows are the backdrop for days of relaxation. Already walking along the road towards Trodena, one senses that we are entering a protected area. The interior of the delightful village attracts the visitor's attention for its very particular architecture. We stop to admire the typical houses built in stone and wood. The center of religious life takes place inside the Church of San Biagio, built entirely of stone and its imposing bell tower dominates the surrounding area. Eighty percent of the village is surrounded by woods and forests. Despite being one of the smallest parks in South Tyrol, it covers an area of about 7000 hectares and due to its strategic geographical position, it has a very varied flora and fauna. The territory of Trodena, due to its many peculiarities, always manages to surprise anyone who crosses his path.
