In a wonderful corner of paradise, guardian of one of the most fascinating views in the world, a treasure trove of infinite beauties, today we are in Malfa, one of the extraordinary islands set within the Aeolian Islands. Divided into three municipalities, Malfa, has a total of 23,000 inhabitants. Originally punctuated by six volcanoes, today it hosts one of the highest peaks in the archipelago. Along the coast you can admire some of the most unique corners in the world, reaching high altitudes, testimony that the volcanoes were the protagonists of the island. The step from the sea to the mountain is really short and there are different itineraries to follow. Our itinerary begins with a visit to a small sanctuary, where the natural reserve of Monte Fossa delle Felci begins. We are located in a protected area, established in 1981, precisely for the plant and animal species that live there. Any path you choose to take leads to the view of all of Sicily, as well as all the typical Mediterranean scrub.
