The video tells the celebrations of Easter in the streets of the village. Calabrian folk music accompanies the inhabitants and visitors during the festival, to the sound of accordion and guitar or from air to air. The arias are the traditional songs that were sung in the countryside during the work, a cappella and without any instrument. At patronal feasts the villagers of different origins exchanged airs with each other, singing them. For millenary tradition the Via Crucis, in the locality, is walked barefoot up to the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Built in 1686, with a hexagonal plan, it was erected on a terrace located at 250 m overlooking the Gulf of Squillace. In front of the granite portal, sculpted by the stone-cutters of Serra San Bruno, the celebration continues, in love for Easter, where even the puppets dance. For the occasion we also visit the Church of San Domenico, with the beautiful staircase that rises to the threshold in arches and the granite facade with the decorations of the same stonecutters.
