Dorgali, located in the central eastern part of the Sardinian island, is an unmissable destination. Village famous for archaeological and artisan attractions and obviously for its incomparable natural beauty. It is covered by the scent of the woods, in the wild mountains of Supramonte. Along the characteristic streets of the historic center it is possible to stroll among houses and shops of volcanic stone, shops where you can admire filigree jewels and ceramics and carpets. The church of San Lussurio and the church of the Madonna d'Itria are magnificent. The Archaeological Museum will make you take a real leap in time, up to the Nuragic age as well as in the Punic and Romanesque periods. A few kilometers from the town you will find the defensive stronghold in the village of Tiscali, and between the mountains and the sea you will admire the Gulf of Orosei. Along a sinuous descent you can reach Cala Gonone for romantic boat excursions. In the Bue Marino caves the Cala Gonone Jazz event, which is celebrated every year and the beautiful aquarium inside the village itself.
