In Pescasseroli there are many traditional and recurring events throughout the year: for example, the so-called 'tomb' of Christmas and the festival of torcinelli. In 2017, however, the Pro Loco of the Abruzzo town wanted to inaugurate the first edition of a new initiative, focused on wine and food. Transhumant wine was the title of this event, which included music and exhibitors with typical local crafts. But the heart of the event, as it is easy to imagine, was the wine, with many wineries, all strictly from the Abruzzo region, which allowed you to taste their products. In the center of Pescasseroli a route had been set up, illustrated by a special map, which started from Via Principe di Napoli, chosen as the meeting place. The landing point was instead the church square, the abbey of the Santissimi Pietro e Paolo. Food & Wine points were set up along the way. In addition to wine, in fact, some typical local dishes were protagonists such as married potatoes, chickpeas and pasta and beans.
