The Cansiglio Forest is the second largest forest in Italy, and is located in the province of Belluno, in the Alpago basin. The paths of Silenzi and Alte Vie di Patera are famous; or the Alpago Natura itinerary which can also be traveled by bicycle. With its 5000 hectares, the forest has an environmental heritage of enormous value, in fact we find centuries-old beech and fir forests as well as vast meadows. Due to its size it has a very rich fauna, there are different animal species that can be encountered, from roe deer to the golden eagle. In the second part of the video we can admire Tambre instead, with its marvelous clock tower, which dominates the landscape. Other attractions present are the characteristic House of Books, the Ethnographic Museum of the Cimbri, the Ecological Museum and the botanical garden in Pian del Cansiglio.
