In the homonymous valley, there is the alpine town of Valtournenche which offers its visitors numerous gastronomic, naturalistic and cultural attractions. Starting from here you can enjoy excursions on snow-capped peaks, glaciers, caves and valleys and then indulge in a well-deserved meal with typical Aosta Valley foods. Lake Cignana at 2,165 meters is one of these, through the path that goes from Bermasse, where there are rock engravings dating back to the Bronze Age, which leads to the lake. The Ornate Caves, the wonderful Gouffre de Busseraille, often framed by transparent ice. 96 meters long and 33 meters deep of smooth and shiny walls like glass, with natural bridges carved out by the stream. Naturally there is no shortage of architectural beauties, such as the Parish Church of Sant'Antonio, overlooking the square, was built in 1420 and decorated by Mazzini, who houses other works of immense value such as sculptures carved in wood, and next to it there is the Museum of Sacred Art, instead.
